New Puppy Checklist

Preparing your home for a new puppy is crucial for their well-being and your peace of mind. Here's our New Puppy Checklist with product links to help you get started:

New Puppy Checklist - all the crucial supplies for your puppy!

Dog Supplies:

  • Collar and ID tag: Ensure your puppy has a well-fitted collar with an ID tag that includes your contact information. We supply the registered Fi Nano Microchip, but your puppy will need the bling to identify itself if its ever away from you.

  • Leash: A lightweight leash for walks and training sessions. Here's a training leash that's helpful for training your dog.

  • Harness: Especially useful for small breeds or dogs prone to pulling.

  • Food and water bowls: Choose sturdy, non-tip bowls that are easy to clean.

  • Puppy food: Consult your vet for the best type and brand for your puppy's breed and size. We feed our puppies Nutro.

  • Treats: For training and rewarding good behavior.

  • Chew toys: Helps with teething and keeps them entertained.

Comfort and Rest:

  • Bed or crate: Provide a comfortable and safe space for your puppy to rest.

  • Blankets or bedding: Easy to clean and cozy for your puppy. We send your home with the scent of mama and their litter mates.

  • Toys: Soft toys, squeaky toys, and interactive toys for mental stimulation.

Grooming Supplies:

  • Brush: Depending on your puppy's coat type, a brush for regular grooming.

  • Nail clippers: For keeping their nails at a safe length.

  • Shampoo and conditioner: Puppy-friendly grooming products.

  • Toothbrush: Start dental care early for good oral health.

Health and Safety:

  • Veterinary care: Schedule vaccinations, check-ups, and discuss preventive care with your vet. We send them home with up-to-date vaccinations but make sure you schedule as soon as possible for their next routine vaccinations.

  • Flea and tick prevention: Consult your vet for suitable products.

  • Puppy-proofing: Remove potential hazards and secure areas where the puppy will roam. To keep your puppy in or out of certain safe zones in your home, we suggest a foldable dog exercise pen that can be shaped, sized according to your needs.

Training and Behavior:

Identification and Registration:

  • Microchip: Consider microchipping your puppy for identification purposes. We've taken care of this part for you with the FiNano chip
